INTROSCHEDULE
Here you will find the schedule for the introduction VT23 with detailed descriptions, times and locations. Activities may change or be canceled depending on weather and other circumstances, so it's a good idea to double check here and our social media for updates on the introduction.
All activities are also available in the Orbi app, where you can go in and pre-register as well as book spots for the events that have limited number of participants.

Monday January 16th
Introduction + guided tour
10:00-16:00, outside the entrance of Sandgärdet, the library building.
A warm welcome to the University of Borås!
The first day of the introduction there packed with information. We start the day with tours of campus, welcoming and classroom presentations. During the guided tour, we will pass the Student Centre where, if you haven´t already, you´ll be able to pick up your access card (blipp), remember to pick up your access card you first need to create an account at the University before then, which you do Step-by-step guide, Campus Borås
Regardless of which section you belong to, the day starts at the same time.

Lunch at The Kårner
12:00-13:00, The Kårner, Yxhammargatan 9
After a busy morning, the belly starts to rumble. Take the opportunity to eat lunch together with your new friends at The Kårner. Bring your own food from home, buy from one of the nearby restaurants and eat together in our studentlocal. There are microwaves and cutlery on site. Come and socialize with your classmates, student buddies and students from other year groups.
Secondhand round
14:30-17:00, The Laxy studenten, outside Sandgärdet.
Join us on a guided shopping tour of Borås secondhand shops. We visit Myrorna, Erikshjälpen and Björk&frihet. Come along and shop for the last things for your home or come along to see what's available. We gather at the Lazy Student statue on Akademiplatsen and walk together towards Knalleland.
Karaoke & games
17:30-20:00, The Kårner
We end the first day with karaoke and games together. Why not bring food and drink and have dinner together while you listen to each other's beautiful songs? Do you have any fun games at home? You can, of course, take that with you and play with other game-loving students!

Tuessday January 17th
Mini fair
11:00-14:00, Vardagsrummet, outside the library
Over lunch we have a visit from some of the contributors of the introduction. Come by and say hello, take part in offers and learn more about Borås' business life! Visitors:
Sale of seating tickets
12:00-13:00, The Kårner.
The project group for the intro seating sells tickets in the entrance area of the Vardagsrum & at The Kårner over lunch. There is a limited number of seats so be sure to get your ticket!

Hamburgertuesday at Lion Bar
16:45-sent, Late studenten, senare Lion Bar, Stora Brogatan 3
We gather at 16:45 at the Lazy student and trudge off together to the Lion bar. Take the opportunity to spend the evening together at the Lion Bar during their burger day. There are fantastic student prices for anyone who can show a Mecenat Card. During the evening, all students can buy drinks and food at student prices:

Wednesday January 18th

Come and socialize with your classmates, student buddies and students from other year groups. Today, the student association ESN is also present and presents their association and answers questions.
Bowling
14:45-16:00, Late studenten, senare Bowlers, Pallas huset
Vi möts vid Late studenten 14.45 och traskar tillsammans bort till Bowlers. Utmana klasskamraterna, eller varför inte faddrarna på en omgång bowling! Boka din plats under måndagen på The Kårner eller i Orbi appen. Begränsat antal platser och det är först till kvar som gäller så skynda skynda!
Section afternoon at The Kårner
17:00 - late, The Kårner
The Student Union in Borås has three sections that represent the school's various academies. During the afternoon, one of the sections, Humanitas, organizes activities at The Kårner. Put on your most amazing sectional colored clothes and a happy mood, and we're going to have a really fun night together. Bring your own drink for an evening filled with fun and frolic!
Thursday January 19th
Lunch på The Kårner & Så funkar det : engagemang

Bring your own food from home, buy from one of the nearby restaurants and eat together in our studentlocal. There are microwaves and cutlery on site. Come and socialize with your classmates, student buddies and students from other year groups.
During this lunch, the student union's board is on site and talks about involvement and student representation at the University of Borås. Come and meet us in the board and get answers to all your questions about how you can influence your study time in Borås.
Beerpong with BOR.ING & 7k-skriven
16:00-late, The Kårner
The student associations BOR.ING and 7k-skriven organize the Beerpong tournament during the intro. Find yourself a partner, sign up and enjoy one of the most fun nights during the spring! This event is open for ALL the new students, including spectators! Registration takes place in the Orbi app or on site at The Kårner.
The rules during Beer Pong are simple!
1. The elbow may not exceed the edge of the table
2. If the ball bounces you may hit it
3. If the ball spins in the glass you may blow it out
4. Judge’s word is the law!
NOTE! Bring your own drinks for both Beer Pong and for your own consumption. Guideline is two units per match.
Friday January 20th

The Student Union of Borås keeps a zoom room open where you can jump in and ask questions and try the digital tool. We have invited the various departments at the University of Borås to be there and answer your questions. The departments that will be on site in the zoom room are:

Humanitas and 7k-skriven present the first seating of 2023! Tickets are bought in Orbi or during physical ticket sales on Tuesday 17/1, see above.
Closing party + ripping off student buddy shirts
22:00-02:00, The Kårner
We end the intro weeks at The Kårner with a bang! It is bring your own drinks to this party. Student buddys and new students, let's shake it out on the dance floor and have a lot of fun. When the night hits midnight, the tradition comes true and the student buddies shirts are ripped! Sing about the happy days of the student!
